she has a great voice, but it doesn't feel soulful. i don't mean in a belt it out kind of way, but it doesn't sound like she feels it.

I find her voice to be smooth and beautiful. I don't understand the criticism. Her voice and way of singing this song, is very reminiscent of Billie Holiday's version. Many people sing Summertime in a very smooth and soft tempo, like this, and others belt it like Fantasia. But, that's how Fantasia sing. It doesn't make any one of these lesser than the other. I'm not familiar with her other songs, but she jazzy voice, and I think she should sing jazz more often, if she hasn't already. Peace

nah im pretty sure its still her she just forcing it most of the time to hits those notes that arnt natural for her. Like listen to Fiona apple shes got a low voice but manages to hit high notes.

not that i don't love this video or scarlett or anything like that, but i've been listening to scarlett's other music videos out there... and i'm kind of maybe starting to think.. that this might not be her singing :Xher voice is a lot deeper in her other videos,.. like a LOT deepergo listen! and come back and call me crazy, cause i'd like to be wrong, but i don't think i am :(
